Aristotle very rightly once quoted, “all friendly feelings for others are an extension of man’s feeling for himself.” This quote explains the importance of love of self in a nutshell. If we are sincere with our own selves, only then can we reflect loyalty onto others.
Unfortunately, self-care is often misunderstood for self-centeredness and as humans, in our quest for
heights, neglect to really take care of ourselves—our inner self, which in turns negatively
effects our personality; that’s why it is important to develop self-care.
Self-care is not about only the superficial elements of your personality. Hitting the gym,
regular visit to the salon, healthy diet are the basic components but not the only important
features of self-care.
